finally my snorkel is ready to roar

i bought K&N lookalike short performance air filter just to find out how the whole thing has shaped up and did the performance of my car really increase. i am going offroading tomorrow 02-03-2007. i will be trying all those dunes which i used to bypass because my 4x4 was not powerfull enough to clime them. now i believe it has got some more power from what it had initially. but one thing which i am liking aleady is the sound of my engine when i give it gas. i love my baby and my next upgrade will be to the exhaust(headers,exhaust pipes cat back system) very soon. keep duning.

and finnaly it will look like this and offcourse you can add a performance filter at the top of the snorkel or use the same old ring filter which sits on the top of the engine.

here is how to upgrade your car's air intake system. the first step is to decide which kind of upgrade you want. wheather you want to add a performance air filter internally or modify the air intake system completely. i mead add a "snorkel". i opted for the second one. and here are some of the photos explaining how it was done. enjoy!!!!
